Editorial Policy

This page describes how Daily Neural Digest produces, verifies, publishes, and corrects its content. It exists so that you always know exactly what you are reading and who is accountable for it.

How our content is produced

Daily Neural Digest is an AI-assisted publication. Our editorial pipeline monitors 50+ curated sources (RSS feeds from trusted tech publishers, ArXiv pre-prints, HuggingFace model cards, GitHub releases, official pricing pages) and drafts coverage from that source material.

Every draft must pass automated quality gates before it can be published: multi-source verification, structure and length requirements, anti-hallucination checks, and a scoring rubric. Drafts that fail any gate are rejected, not published.

We are deliberate about volume. We publish a small number of articles per day and intentionally expose only our strongest work to search engines, so that quality — not quantity — represents this site.

Verification standards

Articles must cite at least 2 independent sources, and statistics must be attributable to a named source. Invented quotes, fabricated numbers, and unverifiable claims are rejected by our anti-hallucination rules.

Pricing information is checked against the vendor's published pricing at the time of writing. Where facts are uncertain or evolving, we say so explicitly rather than presenting speculation as fact.

AI transparency

We do not hide how this site works. Articles are drafted with AI assistance as a rule, and that is disclosed site-wide — in our footer on every page, on our About page, and in our manifesto.

We do not fabricate human personas. Bylines on this site are either Matthieu Lebas, the founder, or “Daily Neural Digest Team”, which designates our AI-assisted editorial desk operating under the standards on this page.

Human accountability

The editorial standards, quality gates, and source list are set and maintained by Matthieu Lebas, who monitors the output and is personally accountable for everything published on this site.

Anything found to be below our standards is corrected, noindexed, or removed — including content already published.

Corrections

If you spot an inaccuracy, contact us. We investigate every report and correct verified errors within 24 hours.

Articles with material corrections are updated in place; where the error changed the substance of the story, we note the correction in the article.

Advertising & affiliate disclosure

This site may display advertising. Some outbound links (for example to Amazon or Coursera) are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate relationships never influence scores, verdicts, or coverage decisions. Reviews and comparisons are based on documented capabilities and published pricing, and we disclose this policy here so you can read them with full context.
